Online Bidding with Greater Giving
What You Can Expect
The 2024 Gala will continue to use the Greater Giving Online Bidding service as has been done for the last few years. This system allows for a paperless bidding system. You will use your smartphone or tablet to bid on silent auction items.
You can easily track Auction Packages by “following” their activity without having to continuously search and return to your favorite auction items. Are you too busy mingling and in a deep conversation with another parent? Set a maximum bid price and let the online bidding app do the work for you. Text message alerts will be sent if your maximum bid is no longer the highest bid prior to the silent auction bidding closing.
All sales are final. St. Peter Catholic School is not responsible for refunding any items that are unable to be redeemed. If you have a question about how to redeem an item, please contact the Gala Coordination Chair, Alicia Liebel-Berg at Alicia.Liebel@gmail.com.
How to Bid with Online Bidding
Once you have been invited to join Online Bidding, you have a number of options available to you.
- Select the Package you wish to Bid on.
- Select either the Bid option to bid the next increment, or select Bid More to choose your increment.
- Or, if available, select Buy Now to purchase the Package for the price listed.
- Click the star icon to save the Package to your Favorites.
- To make a donation, click the Donate button on the home page and enter your amount.
- Use the menu in the top left to view Packages you have bid on, favorited, or to browse by Category.
- When the auction closes, the high bidder can find Packages they have won in the Bids area of the menu.
