We are looking for donations for our Dessert Dash. This was a new event last year that was a great success. We will have a large table filled with several desserts that guests will be able to choose from.

As a table, you need to decide how much money you want to bid on for dessert. Each table has an envelope on it where you can list bidders and/or put in cash or checks. Once dinner starts, the envelopes are collected and counted.

After the program, the emcee will announce which table has bid the most money for their dessert. A runner from that table will "dash" over to the dessert table to get first choice of the desserts. But they need to be quick, because the emcee may call the next table up who bid the next highest amount before the first table has made their decision! 

Attendees last year can tell you there was some fierce competition for the desserts! There was stretching, running, a little pushing and a lot of laughter. 

Desserts need to be able to feed a table of 8 and are okay to sit out for at least two hours. They can be homemade or purchased. Desserts can be dropped off the day before the Gala or the day of. Please contact our Gala organizer, Dana Allison at dana@keyedupevents.com with any questions.
